For the second consecutive year, former Los Angeles Jr. King Cayla Barnes has been named the Best Defenseman of the International Ice Hockey Federation Under-18 Women's World Championship, which this year was showcased from Jan. 7-14 in the Czech Republic.

Former Los Angeles Jr. King Shane McMahan has committed to attend and play his NCAA Division I hockey at Minnesota State University, Mankato following his junior career.

Now in his third season with the United States Hockey League’s Fargo Force - he began the year with the North American Hockey League’s Aston Rebels - McMahan, a forward from Colorado, has totaled 15 points (eight goals) through 21 games.

Former Los Angeles Jr. King Cayla Barnes has been named captain of the U.S. Women's National Under-18 Team that will compete at the upcoming International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Under-18 Women's World Championship, which will be held from Jan. 7-14 in Zlin, Czech Republic.
