Nolan Stevens to join Northeastern

Nolan Stevens, a member of the U.S. National Development Team and former member of the Jr. Kings 16AAA team (2011-2012) has just committed to Northeastern University for next season on a full scholarship. At Northeastern, Nolan will have an opportunity to play with his older brother John.

Nolan becomes the 5th member of the 16AAA team to earn a scholarship to a major Division 1 program, joining Ryan Siroky (Miami-Ohio), Garrett Gamez (Denver), Thatcher Demko (Boston College) and Patrick Newell (St. Cloud).

Nolan’s former coach, Louis Pacella, had this to say about his accomplishment:

"Nolan has an outstanding skill set, a tremendous hockey IQ, and is fiercely competitive. It was always a matter of which school he would choose, never if. For Nolan to have an opportunity to play with his brother in the college ranks will be something very special for both of them and their entire family. We are all very happy for the Stevens family."
