Jr. Kings' own Blake inducted into Hockey Hall of Fame

On behalf of the Los Angeles Jr. Kings’ Board of Directors, we’d like to congratulate Rob Blake on his induction into the Hockey Hall of Fame.

A Jr. Kings Board member, Blake played 14 of his 20 NHL seasons with the Los Angeles Kings, and is the franchise's all-time leader in games played, goals, assists and points among defensemen.

Currently the assistant general manager for the Stanley Cup champions, Blake, who played his NCAA Division I hockey at Bowling Green State University, also played for the San Jose Sharks and Colorado Avalanche, with whom he won a Stanley Cup in 2001.

We’re grateful to call you a part of the Jr. Kings family, and appreciate all you’ve done for the game of hockey over the years and your selfless commitment to the growth and success of our organization.

The 2014 Induction Celebration will be held on Monday, Nov. 15, at the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto.
