Jr. Kings grad Ryan named to NHL All-Star Game

Former Los Angeles Jr. King Bobby Ryan was named to this year’s NHL All-Star Game, becoming the first graduate of the program ever to be selected to participate in the league’s midseason showcase.

Ryan, a forward, has totaled 27 points on 12 goals through 37 games this season with the Ottawa Senators.

While with the Jr. Kings, he helped lift the club to two USA Hockey national titles at the Bantam and Pee Wee levels under the guidance of coach James Gasseau, who currently serves as the Jr. Kings' director of coaching.

The All-Star Game will be played on Jan. 25 at Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio.
