Fundraising campaign in full swing

Los Angeles Jr. Kings Members and Friends,

I'm excited to share with each of you that we raised $21,910.00 this past week.

With 20 days remaining in our campaign, I urge those of you that have corporate ties and/or the financial wherewithal to help us raise funds for the following initiatives:

1.     Education Center Build-Out: $30,000 Goal

Located in the back of Toyota Sports Center opposite the Olympic rink, the room’s blueprint will include study cubicles for our student-athletes, as well as an area for off-ice video and whiteboard sessions.

2.     Alumni Wall Maintenance: $10,000 Goal

Located along the back wall opposite the Olympic rink at Toyota Sports Center, the wall highlights framed pictures of players who came through the Jr. Kings program and advanced to the professionaland NCAA Division I ranks.

3.     Team Wall Maintenance: $10,000 Goal

Also located along the back wall opposite the Olympic rink at Toyota Sports Center, the wall showcases framed pictures of all of our current teams.

4.     Financial Assistance Program: $200,000 Goal

The initiative was established to lower player dues at all levels, and our goal is to create an endowment where we can continue to provide the best possible youth hockey experience, and at the same time offer much more financial assistance to our current families and those who want and deserve to be a part of our club.

Kind Regards,

The Los Angeles Jr. Kings is a non-profit organization dedicated to the development of young individuals into outstanding student athletes, productive members of society, and responsible young men and women. Hockey is a sport that requires incredible dedication, work ethic, and discipline. It teaches young men and women the skills that they will carry well past their young hockey careers and into their professional lives.  The Los Angeles Junior Kings organization provides families that are less than fortunate, opportunities to play this great sport through financial aid and scholarship support. Our goal is to help these outstanding young individuals progress through sport to college and achieve whatever greatness they are destined to achieve.
