Former Jr. King Herrman commits to ASU

Former Los Angeles Jr. King Rory Herrman has committed attend and play his NCAA Division I hockey at Arizona State University following his junior career.

A forward from Poway, Herrman played last season at New Hampshire’s New Hampton School where he totaled 15 goals for 35 points in 37 games.

He played for the Jr. Kings as a Bantam under coach Shawn Pitcher before heading to prep school.

Herrman is the second former Jr. King to commit to Arizona State in recent months, joining goaltender David Jacobson (Calabasas).

ASU is entering its first year as an NCAA Division I program.
