Alum Kent commits to Quinnipiac University

Former Los Angeles Jr. King Nick Kent has committed to attend and play his NCAA Division I hockey at Quinnipiac University following his prep school and junior careers.

A 2001-born defenseman, Kent is in his second season skating at Delta Hockey Academy, which is located in British Columbia.

In seven games in the Canadian Sport School Hockey League this season, the Ladera Ranch native has recorded seven assists.

Located in Hamden, Conn., Quinnipiac competes in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC). The Rand Pecknold-coached Bobcats finished runner-up in last year’s Frozen Four, losing to the University of North Dakota in the championship game, 5-1.
