2013 Thanksgiving Extravaganza

Join us November 28-December 1 for the 10th annual Thanksgiving Extravaganza. Southern California will come alive as teams compete for the top prize. The tournament will feature:

  • 4 Games Guaranteed 
  • 3-(13 Min.) Stop Time Periods
  • Hospitality for Coaches and Managers Only 
  • Awards – Team Trophy for 1st Place and individual awards for 1st and 2nd Place teams. 
     

Local teams may play Wednesday, 11/27 as early as 5:00 P.M. and as late as 9:30 P.M. Teams must be able to play anytime from Thursday to Sunday. Games may be played on Thursday, 11/28 as early as 7:00 A.M and as late as 9:30 P.M. Finals are on Sunday, 12/1.

Multiple venues may be used by the Tournament; Toyota Sports Center, Skating Edge in Torrance, Paramount Iceland and The Rinks at Lakewood. All Championship games will be played at the Toyota Sports Center.

Minimum 4 Team divisions. Refunds will not be issued for teams withdrawing from the tournament once their application has been accepted.

Acceptance Criteria
Teams will be notified of their Acceptance to the tournament on or before October 25, 2013. Once accepted to the tournament you will be contacted by the tournament coordinator.

Minimum 4 Team divisions. Refunds will not be issued for teams withdrawing from the tournament once their application has been accepted.

Hotels
Prior to being accepted into the tournament, out-of-town teams will be required to block their rooms through Pse Tournament Housing. To eligible for the tournament, all families and family members must book their rooms with Pse.

Pse acts as every team’s personal reservation service, providing all teams with a one-stop-shop reservation process. This process ensures all teams have quality hotel accommodations and will reduce the last minute search for hotel rooms. Please note, hotels are first come first serve; popular hotels will book up quickly.

Once the team manager or representative submits an online application, they will receive preliminary acceptance into the tournament. They will then be directed to the Manager Dashboard which will allow them to access the available hotels, view hotel details and secure a room block.
