The Los Angeles Jr. Kings would like to send thoughts and prayers to all those affected by the tornado that swept through Oklahoma on Monday, May 20, 2013. The cities of Moore and Oklahoma City were struck by an EF5 tornado, destroying 12,000 homes and killing 24 people (10 of which were children).

May is unquestionably the best month of the year for guys like Louis Pacella, Jack Bowkus and Igor Nikulin. While the months prior routinely feature plenty of excitement at the SCAHA playoffs, districts and nationals, the coaches and leadership of the L.A. Jr. Kings know that winning is only half the equation.
The 2013-2014 season is quickly approaching. Below are the tryout dates of each of the respective Jr. King teams for this upcoming season listed with the coaches.

2013-2014 Tryout Details
The Jr. Kings would like to congratulate Cayla Barnes on becoming the first female in Jr. Kings history to be selected to the Girls National Team Camp in St. Cloud, Minnesota. From July 19-25, 2013, Cayla will be competing against the best girls in her age group in front of college scouts, national team scouts, Olympic scouts, and some very influential people in the women’s hockey community.
